Some amazing things have happened to me since I’ve been putting myself out there in the local SF music scene. The best part is all the wonderful musicians I’ve had the opportunity to meet and perform with. I feel so fortunate and grateful to be part of such a vibrant group of talented people here in the Bay Area and in the local singer-songwriter ‘scene’.
Among these has been developing my relationship with James Nash. James is known and respected as a virtuoso of the guitar, and also as a great human being, someone who always seems to have a good attitude and also takes no guff. For someone like myself, who can get turned around in the vagaries of life and fall prey to darker states of mind – having people who are walking in the light around me has been a life-saver.
Over the last few years, James has been working with me, guiding the creation of my upcoming release. It is a collection of songs that sounds all that much better, thanks to his involvement.
Here’s a video, just a glimpse at what we’ve been cooking up. For me, the pairing of 2 guitars and vocals has always been the epitome of what I love about Americana, folk and blues.
